The iPAWS-3 is a breakthrough AI-powered smart veneer surface scanning system capable of detecting defects such as holes, knots, edge splits and cracks, pitch pockets, and wormholes in real-time at production line speeds.

Using an innovative photo-array line-scanning technology combined with highly intelligent image processing algorithms, the system classifies surface defects instantly and can be configured for automated grading, routing, or rejection — all without slowing your line.
