Precision Control for Critical Drying

Drying is a critical process in plywood manufacturing, where inconsistent moisture levels can compromise bonding strength, final product quality, and on-grade ratios. The EN-303 combines non-contact moisture content sensors, in-house developed control hardware, and sophisticated AI-driven software into one integrated system.

Unlike manual systems where operators must constantly guess the conveyor speed, EN-303 acts as an "experienced expert." Sensors placed at both the infeed and outfeed of the dryer enable the system to capture each veneer sheet's MC value even before it enters the dryer — then monitor, analyse, and control the entire drying rate automatically.

This means the entire dryer speed is fully controlled by the system. The result is uniform drying, reduced energy consumption, and improved dryer throughput — with fewer overdried or underdried sheets.

Non-contact MC sensors at the dryer infeed capture each veneer sheet's moisture content before it enters — giving the system advance intelligence to pre-calculate the required drying duration.
